Rehearsals

Rehearsals are held on Thursdays in Irving Middle School's band/orchestra room from 4:15 to 5:45. SPRING 2008 rehearsals are held every Thursday except for March 27, during the LPS Spring Break. April 17, the date of the Spring Concert, is the last rehearsal for the school year. The April 17 rehearsal is only one hour -- 4:15-5:15 p.m. and the concert is at 7pm, with students reporting for the concert at 6:40.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS: 1) JYO WILL REHEARSE every Thursday this Spring, except for March 27. 2) April 17 is the Spring Concert at 7 pm in the Irving Auditorium. The dress rehearsal is 4:15-5:15 in the Auditorium; students should arrive for the concert by 6:40.

JYO News

The new JYO conductor for the 2007-2008 season is Dr. Karen Becker, Associate Professor of Cello at UNL. Clark Potter will now be conducting the Lincoln Youth Symphony.
